Ten honest pages

What you might be carrying.

Ten honest pages on the weights men bring home after the TOP: temptation, anxiety, burnout, anger, pornography, loneliness, marriage trouble, money, lost purpose, and shame. What a brother does, and when to get help.

Nobody drifts for no reason

Men rarely leave because they stopped believing. They leave because something got heavy and they didn't know who to tell. A habit that came back. A marriage that went cold. A temper. A bank balance. A loneliness they couldn't name in a room full of guys high-fiving.

These ten pages name the most common weights. They aren't clinical. They don't quote statistics, because we haven't verified any and won't invent them. Each one says the same four things: you're not the only one; here's what this does to a man who carries it alone; here's what a brother actually does about it; and here's when it's time to call a counselor, pastor, or doctor — because sometimes it is, and saying so is not weakness.

Read the one that's yours. Then tell one man.

How to read these

Don't read all ten tonight. Read one. If one step at the end of it is doable this week, do that step and skip the rest. If you get to "when to get professional help" and recognize yourself, take that section seriously — a pastor, a licensed counselor, or a doctor is not a downgrade from faith. It's often what faith looks like when it's honest.

If you're single, read "wife" as the people closest to you — a girlfriend, a roommate, your mother, your brothers. The weight is the same; so is the fix. And if none of the ten fit, write and tell us what does. Write to us →
