Status and purpose
This page exists so that every claim on the site can be checked. It separates what the movement states about itself, what leadership has said in interviews, what journalists have reported, and what remains unverified. Where we don't know, we say so.
1. Identity, purpose, and origin
Legendarios presents itself as a Christ-centered, interdenominational movement aimed at the transformation of men, with intended repercussions on family and community. The organization identifies Jesus as its main reference and states that it serves the church. AHU stands for Love, Honor, and Unity. These are institutional self-definitions; they describe the mission and do not in themselves demonstrate results. [1]
The history published by the movement places the first TOP on June 26, 2015, in Guatemala, with 109 men, and identifies Chepe Putzu as the founder. Its timeline includes a Brazilian chapter in 2018. [2] A Brazilian publication distinguishes the movement's presence in the country since 2017 from the first Brazilian TOP, held in November 2018 in Santa Catarina; "arrival in Brazil" and "first TOP in Brazil" are not synonyms. [3]
TOP is presented as Track Outdoor de Potencial, a four-day experience of physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges. The official description is promotional: it is not a guarantee of permanent change or a clinical assessment. [4]
2. What the movement says it stands for
The manifesto and the "24 Nós" (24 Knots) gather commitments related to the Bible and prayer, the local church, Jesus as reference, family responsibilities, marital faithfulness, example, keeping one's word, finances, honesty, humility, repentance, helping others, friendship, accountability, and respectful communication. [2] Rather than reproduce that material, After the Top directs the visitor to the original and offers its own applications:
- Love — listen, be present, care without turning help into pressure.
- Honor — act with respect, keep agreements, recognize the dignity of others.
- Unity — ask for help, cooperate, keep relationships where the truth can be spoken.
- Responsibility — name your own part in the problem and choose a possible repair.
- Service — do something useful that doesn't depend on recognition.
- Perseverance — resume a practice after a failure, adjusting the commitment when necessary.
These are editorial proposals, not membership rules or an official interpretation of the 24 Knots.
3. Continuity already exists in the movement's proposal
In an interview published by CNN Brasil in April 2025, Joshua Catalan, presented as global vice president of Essence and Special Projects, linked the period after becoming a Legendario to missionary work and humanitarian action. This supports the idea of continuity but remains a leadership account, not an independent effectiveness study. [5]
The RPM is described as a prayer initiative in local gatherings at the beginning of each month, including Legendarios, friends, and families, at meeting points set by the chapters. Availability should be checked locally. [6] The catalog also presents Legado (father and son/daughter) and RIO (Reto Intensivo de Oração); the pages consulted don't support promises about schedule, reach, price, or results. [7, 8] The organization maintains a social outreach page and accounts of humanitarian action, which supports the presence of service in its communication without making published numbers audited. [9]
Editorial implication: After the Top complements existing paths. Its specific contribution is to organize a small next step, help review it, and make it easier to seek support. The sources do not support the claim that the movement abandons men after the mountain — and we don't make it.
4. The "Eagles Nest" video and the limits of the evidence
The address provided identifies a video titled "Eagles Nest," published by Wayne Louk, according to public YouTube metadata. The audiovisual content and a transcript were not available for analysis; this site does not attribute statements, teachings, scenes, or results to the video. [10] A page presenting itself as Legendarios Eagles Nest and an occurrence of Track Eagle's Nest in the movement's directory provide plausible context for the title but do not prove the video's content or official status. [11, 12]
5. Critical assessment of the sources
Institutional pages are the right sources for identity and intentions. They are not, by themselves, proof of marital restoration, mental-health improvement, or lasting transformation. Testimonies have value as individual experiences; they don't estimate the probability that another person gets the same result. The set consulted offers no controlled longitudinal study attributing long-term change to the TOP. That limits what this site may claim; it does not mean no benefit exists.
In January 2025 coverage, Folha de S.Paulo discussed proximity to the coaching world and theological critiques of masculinity models. Those are perspectives of one report, not a conclusion about all participants. Our editorial response is to demonstrate responsibility and care, avoiding prestige, wealth, and dominance as proofs of faith. [13]
Some official pages include unloaded counters, statistics without visible methodology, and possible inconsistencies in scripture excerpts. We don't reproduce those as established facts. [1, 2]
6. Positioning, the six roles, and the 30-day plan
Central proposal: "The real TOP begins afterward — in how you love, serve, and live when you come home." The project offers a bridge between an important decision and the next concrete act. "A better man" has to mean something observable: admitting a mistake, keeping a household responsibility, speaking without humiliating, giving a child attention, working with integrity, asking for help. It doesn't imply comparison between men, spiritual superiority, or a single family template. Being single, childless, divorced, or bereaved doesn't make anyone an incomplete man.
The six roles are an original organization by After the Top, not an official classification. The 30-day plan is a practical proposal, not a proven period for transforming character or restoring a marriage. A study of everyday habit formation found large variation in how long automaticity takes; it supports attention to repetition and context, but did not evaluate conversion, Christian maturity, or TOP participation. [14]
The 50-question self-check has no psychometric validation, produces no overall faith score, and collects no data. The struggles section is pastoral and practical writing; it cites no prevalence statistics because we haven't verified any, and it consistently refers men to pastors, counselors, and doctors.
7. Language and care
- Prefer "choose one doable action today" over "you will be transformed in 30 days."
- Prefer "listen to the people who live with you" over "your family needs to recognize the new man."
- Prefer "ask for help when you need it" over "a real man handles it alone."
- Prefer "repair with responsibility and safety" over "reconcile immediately, whatever it costs."
- Prefer "find your church or trusted community" over "our platform replaces your care."
Violence, threat, or fear are not framed as mere communication problems. In those contexts a reflection page cannot demand contact or steer toward automatic reconciliation. For persistent suffering, we offer language that allows seeking pastoral and professional support without attributing the problem to a lack of faith.

Editorial update, 12 September 2026: The official TOP and RPM pages were re-consulted. REM was consulted via the movement's published link and included as an external resource for couples. We have not verified effectiveness, individual suitability, or event availability. The site does not reproduce schedules subject to change. The biblical applications, the six roles, the 30 steps, and the struggles section are original editorial content, not an official Legendarios program.
